The correct direction of rotation must be selcted to ensure that a hydraulic hose reel functions properly.
The terms ‘left-turning’ and ‘right-turning’ refer to the rotational movement of the reel when the hose is pulled out.
Left-turning/ left hand rotation: the reel rotates counterclockwise when the hose is pulled out.
Right-turning/ right hand rotation: the reel rotates clockwise when the hose is pulled out.
